I got my tattoo, I was sixteen. My brother and his friends all piled up in a car to drive to some house in L.A.. The “shop” was a flimsy shack in the back of a house. We enter and see a woman getting a large palm tattoo on her booty to cover an existing tattoo. I got my tat on my left thigh, recommended by one of the customers. It cost 9$.

“Les Twins” on Planet Funk
I first saw Disney’s The Beauty and the Beast, how excited I was to see the beast become a human again only to be disappointed by the sight of his weird nose and yellow hair and wishing he would have stayed a beast instead.
I was young and hatin’ I suppose.
Are ya’ll offended by the African American’s obsession with Egypt and it’s Pyramids, God/gods, Pharaohs, etc.?
Especially since most of the slaves were taken from West Africa, mainly the region that now has the countries of Benin, Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria, Senegal and Cote I’voire. I always wondered that seeing as I have little knowledge of Africa overall and I have come to learn a lot while being with my boyfriend who is from Nigeria. Well maybe offended shouldn’t be the word, but I’m not sure what word to use.
Your answers would be appreciated.
Thank you.
